Re-read a candidate under a different lens
Same evidence, different fit profile, without losing the role score.
Sometimes a candidate is wrong for the role you scored them against but obviously right for something else. You do not need to re-upload anything. On the report's Overview tab, find the Alternative lens card.
How to run it
1. Describe the fit profile you want to test in the text box. A sentence or two, in your own words. One word is rejected, the app asks you to describe the profile properly. Example from the app itself: "remarkable frontend expert who can also work with Python; FE-lead potential for our FE-heavy spots."
2. Click Evaluate under lens.
Giusim re-reads the candidate's full record, documents, scores, everything on file, under that lens.
What you get back
A lens score on the same 100-perfect scale (strong fit 88 and up, worth an interview 56 and up) with its own verdict in words, plus an expandable evidence + what to verify section:
- Evidence for, quote by quote.
- Evidence against.
- Verify before committing: the gaps, each with how to check it.
- The rationale and a recommended next step.
What happens to the role score
The lens becomes the operative evaluation, and the header shows an Evaluated under lens chip so nobody mistakes it for the role-bar score. The original role-bar score is not lost: it stays in the score history as its own step, the report says so right next to the chip, and the full lineage stays visible.
You can stack multiple lens evaluations on one candidate. All of them stay on the report, dated, with their evidence.
Related questions
The candidate is wrong for this role but perfect for another kind of role, can I check that without ruining his score?
Yes. Open the report, describe the other profile in the Alternative lens box in a sentence or two, and click Evaluate under lens. You get a separate lens score with its own evidence, and the original role-bar score is preserved in the score history with the full lineage visible.
